NORTH Glass Kettle with Tea Infuser, 1.8 L, 1500 W
Glass kettle with a removable stainless steel tea infuser. 1.8 litres, 1500 W, automatic shut-off, boil-dry protection and 360° swivel base.
How to use
- Before first use: fill to MAX with fresh water, boil and pour away. Repeat twice. Rinse the infuser.
- Lift the kettle off the base, open the lid and fill with water between MIN (0.5 L) and MAX (1.8 L). Never fill the kettle while it is on the base.
- For tea: fit the infuser in the kettle, add loose-leaf tea and close the lid fully.
- Place the kettle on the base and press the switch to I. The light stays on while the water heats.
- The kettle switches off by itself when the water boils. To boil again, wait 30 to 60 seconds before switching on.
- Lift by the handle and pour. Remove the infuser when the tea is ready, and keep the lid closed while there is boiling water in the kettle.
Questions and answers
Can I use it without the infuser?
Yes. Take the infuser out and it is a regular kettle.
Why will it not switch on?
The switch only works when the kettle sits correctly on the base. Also check that the water is above MIN and the plug is in.
How do I descale it?
Use a kettle descaler as directed on the pack, then boil clean water a couple of times.
Is it dishwasher safe?
No. Never immerse the kettle or base in water. Wipe with a damp cloth. The infuser can be rinsed under the tap.
What if it boils dry?
The boil-dry protection switches it off. Let it cool completely before adding cold water.
