NORTH Pizza Oven 33 cm, up to 430 °C, indoor and outdoor
Electric pizza oven with a 33 cm rotating cordierite pizza stone, 150 to 430 °C and six programme buttons. For indoor and outdoor use (IPX4).
How to use
- Before first use: remove all packaging, wipe the pizza stone with a damp cloth, dry it thoroughly and place it in the oven. Run the oven empty for 20 minutes at maximum temperature in a well-ventilated area.
- Place the oven on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface with at least 10 cm free space on both sides and 15 cm above. Unwind the cable fully and plug it into an earthed socket.
- Press ON/OFF. Choose a programme (Manual, Neapolitan, Pan pizza, New York, Thin crust or Frozen), or turn the temperature knob to select 150 to 430 °C.
- Press the temperature knob to start preheating. The stone starts to rotate. After about 18 minutes the oven beeps and the green READY indicator lights up.
- Slide the pizza onto the stone with a pizza peel (not included). Set the time with the timer knob and press it to start the countdown.
- When the timer reaches 00:00, take the pizza out. The oven keeps heating, ready for the next pizza.
- Switch off by pressing and holding ON/OFF for 2 seconds. Leave the door open, and unplug only when the cooling fan has stopped and the oven has cooled down completely.
Questions and answers
The oven does not switch off when the timer ends. Is it faulty?
No. The oven keeps heating so it is ready for the next pizza. Stop heating by pressing the temperature knob, or switch the oven off by pressing and holding ON/OFF for 2 seconds.
Why does the oven smell and smoke the first time?
The protective coating on the heating elements burns off. This is normal and harmless. Run the oven empty for 20 minutes before first use in a well-ventilated area.
The display shows E1 or E2 and the oven beeps three times.
The temperature sensor has a fault. Switch the oven off, unplug it and plug it in again. If the error remains, contact the retailer.
How do I clean the pizza stone?
Let the stone cool completely. Scrape off residue with a spatula, brush off burnt flour and wipe it with a damp cloth. Never use soap and never put it in water, as a wet stone can crack. Discolouration is normal.
Can the oven be used outdoors?
The oven is IPX4 rated and can be used outdoors in dry weather, connected to a socket with a residual current device (RCD). Do not use it in rain, and store it dry and indoors when not in use.
Why does the fan keep running after I switch off?
The cooling fan cools the oven down and stops by itself. Do not unplug the oven until it has cooled down completely, as this protects the electronics.
