NORTH Coffee Scale Black with timer, 0.1 g precision and 4 modes, USB-C rechargeable
Coffee scale with 0.1 g precision, timer and 4 modes: Manual, Auto, Ratio and Flow. The scale has two touch keys: the power key (on/off, tare and change mode) and the T key (timer and unit).
How to use
- Before first use: charge the scale with the USB-C cable. The battery symbol flashes while charging and stays on when the battery is full. Do not weigh while the cable is connected.
- Place the scale on a hard, level surface. Press the power key briefly to switch on. Hold it for 2 seconds to switch off.
- Place the jug and filter on the scale and press the power key briefly to reset to zero (tare).
- Press the power key twice quickly to change mode: Manual, Auto, Ratio and Flow.
- Manual: press T briefly to start and stop the timer. Hold T for 2 seconds to reset the timer.
- Auto: tare with the jug and filter, add coffee and press T briefly. The timer starts when you begin pouring water and stops when you lift everything off the scale.
- Ratio: tare with the jug and filter, add coffee and press T briefly to save the coffee weight. Pour water. The display shows the ratio (e.g. 1:15.0), and the timer stops when you stop pouring. Maximum 999 g in this mode.
- Flow (V flashes): tare, add coffee, press the power key and pour water. The display shows your pouring speed (e.g. g/s) and then the total amount of water.
- Press T twice to switch between g, oz and ml. Hold both keys at the same time to switch the beep on or off.
Questions and answers
What does EEEE on the display mean?
The scale is overloaded. Remove the item at once so the sensor is not damaged.
What does LO mean?
The battery is almost empty and the scale switches off. Charge it with the USB-C cable.
Why does the scale switch itself off?
It switches off automatically after 2 minutes without use to save power.
Flow does not show the speed again. What do I do?
Flow is measured once per pour. Press the power key briefly to start a new measurement.
Can I weigh something hot?
Yes, but use a silicone mat if it is hotter than 55 °C.
SafetyDo not place anything hotter than 55 °C directly on the scale. Use a silicone mat. Do not overload the scale or leave items on it for a long time. Do not weigh while the charging cable is connected. Do not put the scale in water. Wipe it with a slightly damp cloth. Store it in a dry place. Charge the scale once a month when it is not in use. Not for children under 12. The scale has a built-in rechargeable battery and must be disposed of as electrical waste.
